Working Meeting with AD Ports Group

On December 13 of 2024, a working meeting was held in Dubai between representatives of KazMunayGas and AD Ports Group.
The Kazakh delegation was represented by B. Zakirov, Deputy Chairman of the Management Board of KazMunayGas, A. Orzhanov, General Director of KMTF, and Sh. Sugurbekov, CEO of CIMS. From AD Ports Group, the meeting was attended by Captain Ammar Al Shaiba, CEO of the Maritime & Shipping Cluster, and Friedrich Portner, Chief Commercial Officer -Maritime & Shipping Cluster.
The main topic of the meeting was the discussion of opportunities for expanding cooperation. The participants reviewed the results of joint activities and outlined key development priorities for the upcoming year.
It is worth noting that the collaboration between KazMunayGas and AD Ports Group resulted in the establishment of the joint venture Caspian Integrated Maritime Solutions (CIMS) in 2023. As part of this partnership, two oil tankers were acquired, strengthening Kazakhstan's position in maritime shipping in the Caspian Sea.
