Since its foundation, KMTF has played a key role in the development of the national merchant marine fleet, providing safe and reliable maritime transportations both in the Caspian Sea and beyond. In 2011, the company was awarded the status of the national sea carrier of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Today Kazmortransflot operates a modern fleet of 15 vessels. Last year the company's fleet was supplemented with two new oil tankers - Taraz and Liwa, which are successfully operating in the Caspian Sea.
Since its foundation, Kazmotransflot has transported more than 108 million tonnes of oil in the Caspian Sea and more than 92 million tonnes of oil in the open seas. Container turnover exceeds 102 thousand TEU and dry cargo turnover is about 700 thousand tonnes.
Kazmortransflot has also made significant progress in implementing investment projects aimed at developing alternative routes for exporting Kazakh oil, strengthening investment cooperation with foreign partners and developing the country's merchant marine fleet.
