From October 1 to October 3, 2018, the 1st HEAVY CASPIAN: TURKMENISTAN International Conference was held in the convention center of the Avaza resort zone in the city of Turkmenbashi.

The conference was devoted to the delivery and installation of heavy and project cargo in the Caspian Sea. More than 100 representatives of trade and transport and logistics companies from the countries of the European Union, the CIS, Central Asia and other regions, as well as domestic transport companies, became participants.

The conference discussed issues of logistics, including:

• the ability of the port of Turkmenbashi to receive project cargo;
• condition of road and rail infrastructure;
• Experience in delivering project cargo to Turkmenistan.

NMSK "Kazmortransflot" at this conference made a report on the experience of transportation of non-bulky cargo, including participation in the Project of Future Expansion of TCO, transportation of equipment to the Atyrau Refinery, rescue work in the Kazakhstan Sector of the Caspian Sea and others. In addition, KMTF demonstrated the planned work on the international transportation of containers in the Caspian Sea.

At this conference, the rate of development of KMTP was positively noted by all participants.
