On May 8-11, the World Ports Conference 2018 is held in Baku.
More than 400 representatives of international ports, business communities, large shipping and logistics companies from 65 countries of the world take part in the event, including states with significant port capacities - the USA, Russia, China, India, Indonesia, Philippines, Japan, Germany, France, Spain.
The participants of the event discuss cargo transportation along the Silk Road, the development of transport hubs and the role of ports in this matter, as well as issues of multiculturalism, cultural differences in global logistics, the operation of free trade zones, increased competition between them and other topics.
The delegation of LLP "NMSK" Kazmortransflot ", headed by the General Director of the Company Ormanov Marat Kushkenbaevich, takes part in the event. Several documents were signed during the event. One of them is the entry of LLP "NMSK" Kazmortransflot "into the Association of Legal Entities" International Association "Trans-Caspian International Transport Route"!
On November 7, 2013, within the framework of the II International Transport and Logistics Business Forum "New Silk Road" in Astana, the heads of JSC "National Company" Kazakhstan Temir Zholy ", CJSC" Azerbaijan Railways ", JSC" Georgian Railway "was signed Agreement on the establishment of the Coordinating Committee for the Development of the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route. In December 2016, the participants in the Coordinating Committee for the Development of the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route - Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Georgia - decided to establish the International Association "Trans-Caspian International Transport Route".
The international association "TMTM" today is an organization uniting and representing the interests of a number of countries and companies located on TMTM, thus reviving the route of the historic Great Silk Road. It is designed to coordinate the interaction of all participants in the process of transporting goods along the route from Asia to Europe and in the opposite direction, providing the necessary information support.
