On February 11-12, 2019, the Working Group on the development of the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route (TMTM) and experts on the issues of organizing container transportation by feeder vessels in the Caspian Sea with the participation of managers of freight transportation services of Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Georgia and Of Ukraine.
The General Director of NMSC “Kazmortransflot” Ormanov M.K. took part in the work of these meetings.
During the meetings, the issues of providing sufficient inventory of fitting platforms for uninterrupted transportation of containers along the TMTM route and creating a mechanism for managing them, including the issue of fees for using fitting platforms, further improvement of container traffic across the Caspian Sea, etc. were considered.
At the end of the meeting minutes were signed taking into account the proposals and actions taken.
