KMG Subsidiary Kazmortransflot Trains and Employs Unemployed Residents of the Mangystau Region

Kazmortransflot, a subsidiary of JSC NC KazMunayGas (KMG), has trained and employed 12 unemployed residents of the Mangystau Region in maritime professions. The initiative was implemented with the support of KazMunayGas as part of the Year of Working Professions and aims to promote maritime careers.

The selection stage took place in May of this year, after which 12 candidates were enrolled in short-term training courses in the specialties of Seaman and Motorman at the specialized training institution Marine Bolashak.

Upon completion of the training, successful passing of examinations, and receipt of all required maritime certificates, 11 participants of the program were employed starting from August 13, 2025, on Kazmortransflot’s oil tankers and container vessels. One candidate continues their studies.

In August, six of the 11 specialists began their shifts at sea, while the remaining five will replace them in September.

Overall, KazMunayGas continues to actively implement initiatives aimed at promoting employment in the regions where it operates.
