Kazmortransflot tugboat in the service of Saudi Aramco
On 16 September 2023, Kazmortransflot transferred three of its tugs - Emba, Talas and Irgiz - on bareboat charter to OFCO, a subsidiary of AD Ports Group.
These tugs are currently operating extensively in the Persian Gulf at the facilities of the world's largest oil companies, including Saudi Aramco.
Saudi Aramco, since its founding in 1933, has grown into a leader in the oil and gas industry, controlling fields with oil reserves of around 260 billion barrels, a significant proportion of the world's reserves. The company also plays an important role in natural gas production in Saudi Arabia.
The work of the tugboat Irgiz at Saudi Aramco's facilities testifies to the compliance of Kazmortransflot's fleet with high international requirements. Participation in such large projects requires vessels to meet strict standards, which is what Kazmortransflot LLP provides. We consider this co-operation as an important step in the development of partnership relations and hope for their further strengthening.
