Kazmortransflot took part in the IV Forum of the women's energy club KAZENERGY "A modern image of female leadership in the energy sector"
The role of the beautiful half of humanity in the energy and oil and gas sectors was discussed at the IV Forum of the KAZENERGY Women's Energy Club,“ A Modern Image of Women's Leadership in the Energy Sector”.
The event took place today, September 25, in the city of Nur Sultan. The moderator of the Forum is Chairman of the KAZENERGY Women's Energy Club, financial director of Kazmortransflot UK Ltd., Aizada Akkaysieva. At this event, the director of corporate affairs of KMTF A.Ualieva also takes part. Today 41 women work at KMTF - this is 48% of the total number of employees. Six representatives of the fair sex occupy senior and middle management positions.
Four women work in the command staff of modern multi-purpose MCV ships. This is the second assistant to the captain of MCV Barys Dana Kultasova, the third mechanic of MCV Sunkar Aidana Galym and two cooks MCV Berkut and Sunkar Sulu Doschanova and Zhanat Galieva. We want to note that from 2014 to 2017, 13 women successfully completed the practice at KMTF vessels.
In Kazakhstan, marine specialists are trained at the Kazakhstan Maritime Academy on the basis of the Kazakh-British Technical University and at the Caspian State University of Technology and Engineering named after Sh. Yesenova. Since its foundation, 214 cadets have been admitted to the KMA, 60 of them are girls. During this time, the school has released four streams of students, of which 21 are girls.
Sailors have their own laws of the sea. There is a good tradition - the rite of baptism of a new ship, which is held by women of general recognition. They are called godmothers. Among the godmothers of the KMTF ships are members of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan Gulshara Abdykalykova, ex-deputies Svetlana Ferho and Aitkul Samakova, people's artists of Kazakhstan Aiman Musakhodzhaeva, Zhania Aubakirova and others. Photos of godmothers hang in wardrooms and thus a woman is always present on board, protecting sailors.
