Exactly 20 years ago, on December 4, 1998, the National Maritime Shipping Company Kazmortransflot was established by Decree of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan No. 1239.

Over the 20 years of its history, KMTF has reached enormous heights! Today KMTF is a national sea carrier that meets the highest international standards for the safety and quality of maritime shipping.

The company owns the largest as well as the most modern fleet in the Republic of Kazakhstan - tanker, towing vessels, as well as vessels for the transport of bulky cargo and barges for various purposes. Today, in honor of the 20th anniversary of the creation of the National Maritime Shipping Company Kazmortransflot, an anniversary event was held - “Open Day”. Visitors of Kazmortransflot were high school students of Aktau.

For the children, a photo exhibition about the history of the KMTF and a tour of the Company’s museum were organized.

During the event, students were shown documentaries about the history of the Company, a photo exhibition. The members of the KMTF Youth Council told in detail about the production activities and vessels of the domestic merchant fleet, their features, projects where KMTF participates, the “Program for training Kazakhstani personnel”, and interesting maritime traditions.

At the end of the tour, the guys received souvenirs from Kazmortransflot, including books about the history of KMTF.
