Investment forum on transport communication was held in Brussels
General Director (Chairman of the Board) of LLP "NMSC "Kazmortransflot" Aidar Orzhanov participated in the Investors Forum "EU-Central Asia Global Gateway" on January 29 in Brussels.
At the opening ceremony of the forum noted the stability of meetings between the Ministry of Transport of Kazakhstan and the European Commission, confirming the mutual desire to strengthen partnership and transport connectivity through the Global Gateway initiative.
Minister of Transport of Kazakhstan M. Karabayev in his speech informed the participants of the Euroforum presentation on the achievements and prospects of the transport industry of Kazakhstan, emphasizing the key role of the country in the transit of goods between Europe and Central Asia.
The panel sessions of the forum emphasized land transport infrastructure as a way to reduce transit time between Central Asia and Europe, simplification of trade procedures, as well as trade and investment potential. During this session the issues of expansion and development of business relations in the field of transport, attraction of investments for implementation of mutually beneficial projects, cooperation in the field of transport and other priority areas were discussed.
