On June 15 of 2022 in Brussels (Belgium) a round table on "Transit-transport cooperation between Kazakhstan and the European Union: prospects for the development of the early Trans-Caspian International Transport Route (TITR)" was held with the support of the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the Kingdom of Belgium and the International Association "TITR"

Participation in this event opens up opportunities for the potential development of digital, economic and trans-logistical interconnections with other countries, in particular with the EU.

Among the participants of this round table were the deputies of the European Parliament, more than 10 international organizations and financial institutions (UN, OSCE, EIB, EBRD, OSJD, TMTM, TRACECA, WCO and others. ), as well as EU railway associations ("Community of European Railway and Infrastructure Companies", "Reilfreight", "FERRMED", etc.), Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Kingdom of Belgium, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belgium and official participants of TITR.

In his speech, the General Director of "NMSC "Kazmortransflot" LLP A.E. Orzhanov told about the current work of the company, further prospects and emphasized the importance of the ESG strategy. It was noted that the company is most interested in socio-economic and corporate responsibility, which will undoubtedly lead to sustainable development.

At the end of the round table the participants unanimously voiced the importance of developing an international corridor and maintaining a constant dialogue between the participants of the transport industry.
