Kazmortransflot participated in the extended board of subsidiaries and affiliated organisations of KazMunayGas
On 24 January 2025 in Astana, an extended board of JSC ‘NC “KazMunayGas” was held headed by the Chairman of the Board of the holding A.Khasenov
Aidar Orzhanov, General Director of KMTF presented the results of the work of the national sea carrier for 2024, noting that KMTF this year achieved a record in oil transportation, successfully implemented projects within the Trans-Caspian route and paid special attention to the safety of maritime operations.
A. Orzhanov also outlined the company's plans for 2025, including increasing the share of oil transportation by its own fleet, strengthening its position on international routes and developing the Kazakhstan Maritime Personnel Training Programme. This educational programme was launched in 2025 in cooperation with the Kazakhstan Maritime Academy at KBTU. The programme will provide education, accommodation and scholarships for future seafarers of the national fleet.
For reference: In 2011, KMTF successfully implemented a similar programme to prepare alumni who are currently working both in the Caspian Sea and office , making a significant contribution to the development of the maritime industry in Kazakhstan.
