Took place to ship call at a port Self-Elevating Drilling Unit «Satti» in Azerbaijan
June 19, 2019 in Baku, the official ceremony of receiving the self-lifting floating rig «Satti» was held.
The event was attended by the Chairman of the Board of NC «KazMunayGaz» JSC Alik Aidarbayev and the President of the Azerbaijan State Oil and Gas Company Socar Rovnag Abdullayev. The "Satti" drilling rig is the first platform, which was entirely built in Kazakhstan and built within three years using American technology at two shipyards. The device is designed for drilling in the Caspian Sea at a depth of 80 meters.
Alik Aidarbayev noted that such projects are a symbol of friendship and constructive cooperation between the two companies. The parties intend to continue to work together with partners.
On june 19, 2019 took place ship call at the base of the Caspian Drilling Company and opening of the border at its pier. Up to this point, while the installation was on the raid, the necessary preparatory work was carried out. For this purpose, technical personnel from the shore were delivered to the «Satti».
