The ship "Sunkar" is the last in a series of 3 specialized ships built within the framework of the project of the future expansion of Tengizchevroil.

Vessels are designed for cargo transportation in shallow areas of the northern Caspian. The multifunctional modern vessel has a length of 113 meters and a width of 21 meters, a maximum carrying capacity of 5,200 tons with a draft of up to 4 meters, which makes the ship unique in the Caspian Sea.

The ship "Sunkar" was built in the Romanian city of Braila and accepted by the National Company "Kazmortransflot" on January 16, 2018.
