The KMTF delegation took part in the meeting of the International Association "Trans-Caspian International Transport Route"
On March 16-17 this year in Istanbul, Turkey, the meeting of the Working Group of the International Association "Trans-Caspian International Transport Route" (TITR) were held. This is the first meeting in 2021.
The delegation of NMSK "Kazmortransflot" was headed by Director-General Orzhanov Aidar. During the meeting, a report on the results of the Association's activities for 2020 and development plans for 2021 were heard. The members of the Working Group have noted the stable development of the route and the increase in transit container traffic in 2020, which is a challenge for the whole world.
Also, the development plan of TITR and the cargo transportation volume along this line were approved. Tariff rates for the transportation of goods for the current year have been agreed. At the same time, attention is mostly paid to the priority of services developing and increasing the volume of transit container traffic.
Following the meeting of the Working Group the members decided to develop a strategy for the development of TITR until 2025 with an appeal for an active and responsible approach on the part of all member countries of the International Association "Trans-Caspian International Transport Route".
