During his working trip to Atyrau region on 27 December, Chairman of the Management Board of JSC NC KazMunayGas Askhat Кhasenov held a bush meeting with the participation of representatives of oil and gas producing organisations, oil refineries and others:
KazTransOil JSC, KMG Engineering LLP, KMG Petrochem LLP, Embamunaigas JSC, ANPZ LLP, KPI Inc LLP, Kazakhoil Aktobe LLP, Kazakhturkmunai LLP, Urikhtau Operating LLP, Ural Oil and Gas LLP, JV Kazgermunai LLP, KMG Aero LLP, KMG-Security LLP, PNHZ LLP, PKOP LLP, KMG International.
Financial and production indicators for the first 11 months of this year, plans for 2025, as well as measures to improve operational efficiency were reviewed. Specific tasks were set for production companies to search for and implement technologies to increase oil recovery and reduce operating costs. Refineries should work on increasing the yield of light petroleum products, reliability and energy efficiency of processes. The focus of gas-chemical projects is to prevent the growth of capital investments, increasing the share of Kazakhstan content.
The next day, 28 December, the meeting on operational efficiency was held in Aktau. Summarised the results of JSC ‘Ozenmunaigas’, JSC ‘Mangistaumunaigas’, JSC ‘Karazhanbasmunai’, Dunga Operating Gmbh, LLP ‘JV “Caspi Bitum”, LLP “NMSC ”Kazmortransflot’, LLP ‘KazGPZ’ and oil service companies for 11 months of this year.
A. Кhasenov noted that it is necessary to improve the efficiency of geological and technical measures, increase the inter-repair period of wells, optimise lifting costs and capital investment. As for oil service companies, emphasis was placed on strengthening control over the quality of work, in particular, well repair.
The Caspi Bitum plant is to complete the expansion of bitumen production to 750,000 tonnes per year within the set timeframe. Special attention was paid to the issues of compliance with production discipline and labour organisation.
