This has not been an easy year for agriculture in Mangistau region. Livestock farming has suffered badly due to the ongoing heatwave and drought.

The staff of the subsidiary company of NC "KazMunayGas" JSC - NMSC "Kazmortransflot" LLP (hereinafter - KMTF) could not stand aside and unanimously came to a decision to provide their feasible assistance.

Employees of the country's National Maritime Carrier have more than once helped citizens who find themselves in difficult life situations, not leaving them in the lurch. And this time the Company launched a campaign of kindness - assistance in collecting funds for delivery of hay to rural areas of Mangistau region from neighbouring regions. So, as part of the action, KMTF employees raised about 3 million tenge to help farmers in the region.

Thanks to the well-coordinated work of the friendly KMTF team, an agreement was reached with agricultural workers in West Kazakhstan region. With the support of the AVANGARD LLP, the agrarian firm of Bayterek district of West Kazakhstan region, four trains of necessary hay were delivered to Shetpe village of Mangistau region, which were transferred to the district akimat for further distribution to farmers of the district.
