By tradition, a delegation from NMSC «Kazmortransflot» headed by its general director Aidar Orzhanov takes part in the 24th Kazakhstan international exhibition «Transport and Logistics», which is held on October 13-15 in Almaty.

«Transport and Logistics» is the largest exhibition of transport and logistics services and technologies in Central Asia. More than 100 companies take part in the exhibition every year, 60% of which are foreign participants.

At the stand of NMSC «Kazmortransflot» Aidar Orzhanov introduced the Minister of Industry and Infrastructure Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan Beibut Atamkulov the current state of the company and its development plans.

KMTF is a highly efficient, competitive, recognized international integrated shipping company that meets the highest international standards of shipping safety, a reliable provider of services to Kazakhstani and foreign partners. Today KMTF has an impressive fleet of 23 vessels of various types and purposes with a total tonnage of 340 thousand tons, including five tankers, three of which - on the Caspian Sea and two - the Black Sea, as well as two specialized multipurpose vessels, one container ship and four bulk carriers. The fleet of support for maritime operations consists of 8 flat barges and 3 tugboats.

KMTF's potential in the market is growing, so expanding the boundaries of the business and increasing the fleet remains the focus of the Company's production activities. In 2020, the Company received approval to initiate the investment project «Acquisition/construction and operation of two Aframax-type oil tankers».

KMTF successfully participates in projects for transportation of various oversized project cargoes, for example: 25 units of oversized cargoes were transported from Constanta port to Atyrau river port for construction of KPI petrochemical complex in Atyrau.

KMTF vessels successfully and on time completed their work in the Future Expansion Project of Tengizchevroil LLP. One of the key projects is international container transportation. Thanks to the launch of the feeder line, freight volumes have increased and travel time has been cut almost threefold.

Thanks to the anti-epidemiological measures taken, not a single case of COVID-19 infection, let alone a fatal one, was registered on the vessels of NMSK Kazmortransflot LLP. Thus, despite the quarantine restrictions, all production indicators in the company were exceeded and the planned objectives were achieved.

KMTF General Director also spoke about the company's development strategy in the field of international transportation and servicing of maritime projects.
