“NMSC “Kazmortransflot” LLP Management took part in the General meeting of the International association “Trans-Caspian International Transport Route” (TITR)
Management of the “NMSC “Kazmortransflot” LLP has participated in the Development Working Group session and General Meeting of the Association of Legal Entities “International Association“ Trans-Caspian International Transport Route ”, which was held in Almaty.
During the meetings, the participants were presented with a Report on the results of the Association's activities for 2019, as well as Development plans for 2020. Members of the Association have noted a significant increase in container traffic. Over the past year 26 thousand units of containers in twenty-foot equivalent (TEU) were transported along the TITR route, which is 70% more comparing with 2018. The key driver for increasing the volume of container traffic through TITR was the launch of a new Feeder line in the Caspian sea between the ports of Aktau and Baku in April 2019, the sea operator of which is Kazmortransflot.
To remind, starting from the summer 2018, the National Carrier Kazmortransflot began an extensive work on the development of shipping industry with the colleagues from TITR member countries after joining the association.
