KMTF expresses its gratitude to the First President of Kazakhstan!
The staff of Kazmortransflot thanks the Head of state for a contribution to formation of independent Kazakhstan. We would like to remind our readers that the national fleet of Kazakhstan was created by the initiative of Elbasy.
In 1998 the Government decided to establish the National maritime shipping company "Kazmortransflot". The state has taken on the difficult task of forming the national fleet, in the absence of private carriers.
"Taking into account the capabilities of Aktau seaport, our country has a great export potential," Nursultan Nazarbayev said in the first years of the national fleet formation.
Starting from scratch, Kazmortransflot has become a leading shipping company in 20 years.
Owned by domestic companies are now 27 ships. Of this number, 8 vessels are tankers, with 2 tankers running in the Mediterranean and Black seas. KMTF is involved in the project of Future expansion of Tengizchevroil. The Kazmortransflot believes in the potential of the younger generation at the expense of grants of the company of about 100 Kazakhstanis are trained in the leading Russian universities in the Maritime field. Most of these guys came to work at the KMTF.
The company will continue to develop the domestic fleet of the country, will achieve even better results in the Maritime market and will continue to go in the direction set by the First President of Kazakhstan. After all Kazmortransflot is always on the right course!
