Kazakhstan and the UAE will create a joint venture

During the visit of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Qasym-Jomart Tokayev to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) was signed an agreement on strategic partnership between JSC NC "KazMunayGas" and Abu Dhabi Ports Group.
Subsidiaries of the parties "NMSC "Kazmortransflot" LLP and "International Maritime Investments" Ltd will establish a joint venture on the basis of Astana International Financial Center to provide maritime services for oil and gas projects, as well as transportation of all types of cargo in the Caspian Sea and the Open seas.
The parties express interest in cooperation in the development of the maritime fleet and onshore infrastructure in the Caspian and Black Seas.
"Our goal is to remove all existing barriers and reliably connect East and West, North and South. That is the reason for which I fully support cooperation with Abu Dhabi Ports on the creation of maritime and port infrastructure in our country." - said the President.
