General Director of NMSC Kazmortransflot Aidar Orzhanov informed the management of «NWF «Samruk-Kazyna» JSC on the current state of the company and about company's development plans
On May 13 this year, within the framework of familiarization with the production enterprises of the national company «KazMunayGas», the Mangistau region was visited by the Chairman of the Board of «SWF «Samruk-Kazyna» JSC Almassadam Satkaliyev and Chief Executive Officer of NC «KazMunayGas» JSC Alik Aidarbayev.
The General Director of Kazmortransflot (hereinafter - KMTF) Aidar Orzhanov at the dry-cargo berth of the Aktau port informed the management of «NWF «Samruk-Kazyna» JSC on the current state of company and its development plans. Today, KMTF has an impressive fleet of 23 vessels of various types and purposes with a total tonnage of 340 thousand tons, including 5 tankers, three of which are in the Caspian Sea and two in the Black Sea, as well as 2 specialized multifunctional vessels, 1 container shipping vessel and 4 dry cargo vessels. The fleet for support of marine operations consists of 8 barges and 3 tug-boats.
The annual volume of oil transportation reaches up to 11 million tons of oil. Transportation is carried out by 2 Aframax tankers and 3 Caspimax tankers.
The company has participated in major projects such as «Tengizchevroil Future Growth Project», «Construction of the KPI petrochemical complex in Atyrau», feeder line on the Aktau-Baku-Aktau route within the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route and many others.
The General Director of KMTF spoke about the company's development strategy in the field of international transportation and servicing of offshore projects.
