At the next meeting of TMTM a report was presented on the activities of KMTF in the framework of feeder transport along the Aktau-Baku route

On October 22, 2019 in Tbilisi (Georgia), a session of the General Meeting of the Association of Legal Entities of the International Association “Trans-Caspian International Transport Route” was held.
It was attended by General Director of NMSK “Kazmortransflot” Ormanov Marat Kushkenbaevich. The meeting participants were provided with a report on the activities of KMTF in the framework of feeder transport along the Aktau-Baku route.
From the beginning of the feeder line to the end of the 3rd quarter of 2019, 25 circular flights were made along this route.
In total, 2 389 units of containers were transported, of which:
- 1 123 TEU;
- 1 266 FEU.
Also, during the meeting, tariffs for 2020 were considered, issues of cargo transportation and tariff reduction along the route from Kazakhstan were discussed. Memoranda of understanding were signed between the port of Baku and the ports of Aktau and Kuryk.
