Kurman Nurmanov is the second mechanic of the tanker "TK Aktau" of NMSK Kazmortransflot LLP.

Kurman's interest in the sea did not come immediately, and as a child he did not even dream of a marine profession. But growing up in Aktau, on the shores of the Caspian Sea, over time he became more and more interested in the marine industry. That's how his professional career began.

In 2013, the future sailor completed professional training under the marine specialist training program. His total experience in this field is 7 years.

The main area of responsibility of the second mechanic is the ship's engine room. The responsibilities include starting the engines, monitoring their stable and correct operation, as well as ensuring the serviceability of all technical systems.

The engine room is rightfully considered the "heart" of the vessel, and the task of the second mechanic is to ensure its smooth operation. This area requires high professional training, precision and full responsibility for the technical condition of the equipment.
